By the time students finish third grade, they will be reading, writing, pronouncing, translating simple and complex dialogues, and creating their own sentences for question and answer exercises. The fourth and fifth grades follow a high school Spanish 1 curriculum. By the end of fifth grade, students can conjugate regular and irregular verbs, use proper forms and structure when writing sentences to formulate and translate paragraphs.
