Camp Creativity - June 1-4

Camp Description:
Have you made summer plans for your child yet? Get ready for imagination to soar at Camp Creativity at Forest Ridge Academy! This one-of-a-kind day camp invites students to think outside the box and dive into hands-on adventures you won’t find in a typical classroom. Campers might dive beneath the ocean’s surface while building their coral reef model, design dazzling cosmic sun catchers, or even engineer an edible Eiffel Tower masterpiece! Campers will also enjoy time outdoors each day, getting fresh air, staying active, and playing games on campus. And to celebrate an amazing week of creativity and fun, we’ll wrap up camp with a giant water fight on the final day—a favorite tradition that campers won’t want to miss! If your child loves to investigate, imagine, build, and create, Camp Creativity is the perfect place to be this summer. With engaging projects, plenty of laughter, and opportunities to make new friends, every day brings a new adventure. Spots fill quickly—join the fun and let creativity shine this summer!
Mission Possible: Secret Agents Camp - June 8-11

Camp Description:
Get ready for a week of adventure at Mission Possible Summer Camp! Campers will become secret agents as they take on exciting missions, solve clever puzzles, and work together to complete fun STEM challenges. Each day, students will train like real spies through obstacle courses, teamwork games, creative problem-solving activities, and imaginative missions that build confidence and cooperation. From cracking secret codes to navigating mystery missions, campers will use their brains, creativity, and teamwork to accomplish the impossible. By the end of the week, every young agent will graduate from training with unforgettable memories and a top-secret set of spy skills!
A Week in the Secret Garden - June 8th-10th

Camp Description:
Step into the magic of the garden for a week of creativity and discovery! During this hands-on workshop, children will explore gardening through planting, painting flower pots, creating nature-inspired crafts, and learning how plants grow. Each day will include engaging garden activities and a healthy snack that we will enjoy toward the end of camp. By the end of the week, children will take home their own planted creations and special projects from their time in the Secret Garden. If your child is staying from another camp beforehand, they are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy during the first 30 minutes before our camp activities begin.
Getting Ready for Kindergarten Camp

Camp Description:
Keep your child learning throughout the summer! Students entering Kindergarten can come and join Mrs. Rodriguez for kindergarten camp. The program will focus on reading, writing, and math. In math, we will focus on the beginning of the year kindergarten material. In writing, we will talk about word families, practice sounding out words, and writing sentences. We will also work on reading, phonics skills, and comprehension. All work will be done in class. No homework will be given. Students may attend any of the sessions offered.
Busy Bees and Bookworms - June 10th, 17th, 24th

Camp Description:
Bring your little readers to Busy Bees and Bookworms Storytime! Caregivers will be included in the fun as we listen to stories, sing silly songs, and play games to develop early literacy skills. Each session will also include an activity or craft that families can complete together. Siblings are welcome to join us, too.
Themes for June: Over the Rainbow, Picnic Pals, and Beautiful Bugs.
Hogwarts High - June 15-18
Dates: June 15th-18th
Time: 9 am-3 pm
Ages: Wizards or Muggles entering 2nd through 8th grade
Camp Fee: Tuition is 5,000 galleons for wizards (equivalent to $235 for Muggles)

Camp Description:
Come join Professor Buchler and Professor Velazquez for an unforgettable journey through the wizarding realms inspired by "Prisoner of Azkaban." This isn't just camp; it’s an adventure where you will discover mythical creatures, experiment with potions, and practice spell-casting in an immersive Hogwarts-inspired experience. Each day, you will shop at Honeydukes for snack time with your earned galleons, dine on your homemade concoctions in the Great Hall, and channel your competitive spirit with thrilling Quidditch matches and a variety of friendly competitions. Creativity will shine as campers design house-themed projects, create magical crafts, and bring home their make-and-take masterpieces. Throughout the week, house points will be awarded for teamwork,
participation, and wizarding spirit. The Sorting Hat awaits... which house will you belong to? All FRA students and their friends are welcome, except for “He who shall not be named.”
Eagle Fitness Summer Edition - June 22-25

Camp Description:
Back by popular demand, it's Eagle Fitness! This summer edition aims to keep our little eagles active and moving and away from screens. Regular physical activity makes us stronger and helps reactivate and refocus the brain while reducing stress, anxiety, and frustration. Plus, it’s a fun and simple way to instill the value of an active lifestyle! Students will kick off each class with stretching before engaging in activities such as obstacle courses, nature hikes, dance parties, and classic childhood games like tag! From there, students will prepare nutritious snacks such as veggie sticks & dip, fruit kabobs, smoothies, or yogurt parfaits. We will end each session with a cool-down and discuss achieving healthy habits. Please send the following in your child's backpacks daily: spray sunscreen and a water bottle.
Calendar Creation Camp - July 13th-16th

Camp Description:
Join us for a four-half-day summer camp where creativity, imagination, and fun come together in the most memorable way! Campers will journey through an entire calendar year, one month at a time, bringing each season to life through themed photo shoots, hands-on crafts, and delicious camper-made treats. Each “month” will feature a photo session complete with adorable props, playful backdrops, and plenty of smiles. By the end of camp, every child will have a full collection of photos to create a personalized keepsake calendar, a treasured memory families can enjoy all year long. Every monthly theme also includes a creative craft inspired by seasonal traditions, holidays, and celebrations. To make each experience even sweeter, campers will prepare a special themed snack that connects flavors to the time of year, adding an extra dash of excitement to each day. It’s a year of memories packed into four unforgettable days!

Camp Description:
Let your child shine on stage at Little Stars Drama Camp! This fun and imaginative camp is perfect for young performers who love to act, move, and express their creativity. Throughout the week, campers will explore the exciting world of theater through drama games, storytelling, simple choreography, and character play. Campers will work together to build confidence, practice teamwork, and learn basic stage skills as they prepare a short performance. At the end of the week, campers will showcase what they’ve learned in a special performance for family and friends at 4:00 PM on the final day, July 17th.

Are you looking for ways to help your little one transition smoothly into our Junior Kindergarten program? If so, consider enrolling them for a “sneak peek of JK! This can alleviate nervousness, help them get used to the routine and environment, encourage new friendships, promote hands-on exploration and creativity, and give a positive jumpstart to their Junior Kindergarten journey! Please send the following in your little ones' backpacks each day: a water bottle, a snack, and a set of extra clothes (shirt, shorts, underwear, socks, and shoes), just in case!
Mad Science Camp - June 10-13

The best part is the memories made along the way, as they get their hands dirty, make exciting discoveries, and learn the power of curiosity. Get ready for giggles, discovery, and a magical start to your child’s FRA adventure! We are thrilled to invite them to our Young Scholars Summer Camp—a happy place where little learners can explore their new school. Get ready to meet your new teachers while experiencing school life through a variety of activities, including songs, games, stories, crafts, and hands-on indoor/outdoor activities. Each day will be filled with music, colorful creations, exciting discoveries, and plenty of time to laugh, play, and make new friends. As summer tiptoes toward its end, attending Happy Campers is the perfect way to help your child gently transition into the daily school routine. Familiar faces, cozy classrooms, and fun-filled activities will help your child feel comfortable, confident, and excited for their very first day of preschool. Let the adventures begin!

Our Grades 2–4 Sports Summer Camp is the perfect place for young athletes to stay active, build skills, and have fun! Campers will participate in a variety of age-appropriate sports and team-building activities designed to improve coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each day includes skill development drills, small-sided games, and exciting challenges that help students grow in confidence while learning the fundamentals of sports such as basketball, soccer, kickball, and more. With a focus on encouragement, inclusion, and positive attitudes, our camp creates a safe and energetic environment where every child can try new activities, make friends, and develop a lifelong love of movement and play. Please bring the following each day: Refillable water bottle, snack (peanut-free!), and wear athletic gear: shoes, shorts, t-shirt.

Our Grades 5–8 Sports Summer Camp is designed to challenge and inspire middle school athletes of all skill levels. Campers will participate in structured skill development, position-specific drills, strength and agility training, and competitive team play in sports such as basketball and volleyball. Instructors will emphasize teamwork, leadership, strategy, and sportsmanship while helping students refine techniques and build confidence on and off the field. Each day includes skill sessions, scrimmages, and team-building activities in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether students are preparing for school teams or simply love to compete and stay active, this camp provides the perfect balance of skill growth, competition, and summer fun. Please bring the following each day: Refillable water bottle, snack (peanut-free!), and wear athletic gear: shoes, shorts, t-shirt.
