Biography
For the past 27 years, I have been blessed to serve the Forest Ridge Academy community in a variety of roles. I currently teach Junior Kindergarten while also serving as the Early Childhood Division Head and After-School Activities Coordinator. Throughout my time at FRA, I have also been a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant and a Young Scholars Teacher, allowing me to support our youngest learners at every stage of their early education.
I earned my degree in Early Childhood Development from Purdue University, and I am passionate about helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Watching students grow in confidence, curiosity, and faith during their earliest school years is one of the greatest joys of my career.
What I love most about Forest Ridge Academy is, first and foremost, the amazing little ones I have the privilege of teaching each day, along with the supportive and loving community that makes it possible to do what I love. The lifelong connections formed with students and families, and the joy of seeing former students grow into incredible adults, make every year at FRA deeply rewarding.
As the proud parent of Edison Szafarczyk, a 2018 Forest Ridge Academy graduate, I have also experienced the FRA community as a parent, making this school a special part of my family's story.
