Biography

I have been a part of the Forest Ridge Academy community for 21 years and currently serve as the Woodworking Teacher, Chess Teacher/Coach, and a member of the Fine Arts Committee, Sound Crew, and Grant Committee. Throughout my time at FRA, I have enjoyed serving students in a variety of roles, including as a classroom teacher in kindergarten, first, and second grades, as well as a third-grade math teacher.

 

What I love most about Forest Ridge Academy is the strong sense of community and family atmosphere. I appreciate the personal connections built within our school and the ability to work together in a way that allows FRA to serve students effectively without the challenges of a large bureaucracy.

 

I am honored to have received the Forest Ridge Academy 20-Year Service Award and the “Green” Award in 2009. I am also proud to be part of the FRA community as a parent of two current students, making Forest Ridge Academy a meaningful part of both my professional and family life.
