Biography

I have been a part of the Forest Ridge Academy community for 22 years, along with many years of volunteering before joining the staff. I currently serve as the Young Scholars Director and Young Scholars Teacher. Throughout my time at FRA, I have also had the opportunity to serve as a Junior Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, and member of the kitchen staff, allowing me to support our school community in many different ways.

 

What I love most about Forest Ridge Academy is that it feels like a family away from home. I appreciate the small class sizes that allow teaching to be personal and meaningful, and I love knowing that our students receive an education that challenges them, helps them grow, and prepares them to become leaders.

 

I am honored to have received the Forest Ridge Academy 5-Year, 10-Year, and 20-Year Service Awards, as well as recognition through the Soup-er Bowl Cook Off and Soaring Eagle Coin. FRA is truly a special part of my life, as all three of my children attended the school, and I currently have two grandchildren attending Young Scholars and Kindergarten.
