Biography

I have been a part of the Forest Ridge Academy community for two years and serve as a fourth-grade Teaching Assistant, while also supporting Arrival and Dismissal, Summer Extended Care, tutoring, and substitute teaching when needed. I enjoy being able to support students in a variety of ways and help create a positive, caring learning environment.

 

Before joining FRA, I worked at Regional Health (DCS) and Franciscan Health in Adolescent Behavioral Health, experiences that strengthened my ability to support children and families with compassion and understanding. What I love most about Forest Ridge Academy is the excellent sense of community. The small classroom environment allows for stronger connections between students and staff and creates a place where everyone feels known and supported.

 

I am especially proud to be part of the FRA community because I am also a former student, attending FRA from Young Scholars through second grade. My sisters also attended FRA, and my mom is a member of the FRA staff and continues to be an inspiration to me.
