Biography

I have been a part of the Forest Ridge Academy community for four years and currently serve as the Upper School Spanish Teacher, teaching students in third grade through middle school. I enjoy helping students develop their language skills while exploring Spanish culture through grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversation.

Spanish is my native language, and I am passionate about sharing both the language and cultural experiences with my students.

 

Before joining FRA, I spent nine years as a preschool and kindergarten teacher at Cline Avenue Childcare and 11 years teaching preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten at Patti’s All-American. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from a private college and am certified in both the Montessori method and the Abeka Kindergarten curriculum.

 

What I love most about Forest Ridge Academy is the opportunity to build meaningful connections with students, share my native language, and help each student recognize their own potential for growth. I appreciate the teamwork, support, and positivity of my colleagues and administration, as well as the cultural diversity that makes FRA such a special community.
