Biography

I have been a part of the Forest Ridge Academy community for five years and currently serve as the Art Teacher, Fine Arts Committee Head, and a member of Faculty Life. I enjoy inspiring students through creativity and helping them explore their artistic abilities while building confidence and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

 

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago, with a minor in Art History and Animation. Before joining FRA, I gained experience as an art instructor with Opportunity Enterprises, South Shore Arts, and the Art Barn School of Art, where I also served as a Board Member. I have been a League Member for 10 years and a Board Member of South Shore Roller Derby, and my artwork has been featured in various shows throughout the region.

 

What I love most about Forest Ridge Academy is the students, the opportunity to teach a curriculum I am passionate about, and the strong sense of community within the school. I am grateful to be part of a place where creativity is encouraged, and students are given the opportunity to express themselves through art.
