Patriot's Pen Contest Winner!

That’s “write”! FRA has another winner.
Forest Ridge Academy 8th grader Adam was one of the regional winners of the 2017 Patriot’s Pen writing contest, sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Adam, also FRA’s Student Council President, was picked from a pool of 455 entrants to earn the honor. His winning essay will now move onto the state level for judging at a chance to make to nationals in Washington, D.C.
This year’s theme was, “America’s Gift to My Generation.” The rules of the contest are to be the student’s original work, between 300-400 words, and typed.
Adam was presented with a certificate from the VFW and a Youth Essay Award Citation.
Way to go, Adam!
