Language Arts
The intermediate school language arts program further exposes students to many different genres of literature, different styles of writing, and the many skills needed to become a good reader and writer. Students:
- Create projects
- Participate in literature circles and whole-class discussions
- Complete factual and creative writing activities
- Continue to develop and strengthen comprehension skills
- Further develop vocabulary, grammar, and spelling skills
- Review cursive writing
- Write creatively and also for practical purposes through:
- Reports
- Letters
- Poetry
- Journals
- Carry out the writing process from rough draft to final copy
